Colorado Barn Mural

Chic Palmeri, High Springs, FL - Photo taken outside of Florence, Colorado in the Twin Creek mountain community. Attached is a copy of a photo of our barn that we built when we lived in Colorado about 6 years ago. After moving from the Sunshine State of Florida we discovered that winters in Colorado were not only very long but also pretty bleak. I decided to use some color to try to cheer us up during those long winter months and used a banner drawing as an idea for a mural on the side of our barn. I substituted the log cabin on the banner for our mountain chalet which we had also built. The mural faced our house and yet was also visible from the main winding road throughout our small mountain community. Everyone told us they always enjoyed the view of the mural on their way home from the valley below.
